Open House

Little River Community School is having an Open House on Thursday March 11 at 6:30pm.  Child-care and refreshments will be provided.  There will be an informal discussion about the program and the philosophy of the school and time for questions and answers.

Little River Community School is an alternative school with a cooperative, multi-age learning environment and an 8:1 student:teacher ratio.  The school features hands-on experience, field trips, and student input.  The school also provides services and support for families who want to school at home including in-school opportunities and curriculum support.

Little River Community School has openings for the fall 2010/2011 session.  Tuition aid, up to nearly one half off the full price, is available to lower and middle income families.  Busing within a 15 mile radius is provided by the local school district.
